My client, a top European Investment bank with hugely successful TCF platform, are looking to make the hire of a Vice President or Director Level . Candidates will need to have transactional trade finance (trade/commodity finance) experience as opposed to structured or pre-export financing backgrounds coming from strong commodities/trade international banks.
The Role:
- Responsible for the development of the commodity trade finance platform across the Asia Pacific region (Singapore & North Asia/Greater China). Focus on the energy space. Team of 5/6 ? you will work closely with market leading MD in the origination of new business.
- Primary responsibility for 8-12 clients as account manager/point of contact.
- Writing of credit proposals (commercial paragraphs) before passing across to Credit Analysis Team and coordinating with other teams within the bank.
- This is a Vice President to Director level hire. Mandarin language skills highly desirable.
- Commodity Finance/Trade Finance experience from a top investment bank is essential.
- Candidates with only structured or pre-export finance experience cannot be considered. Transactional trade finance experience (projects up to 1 year) is a requisite of the role.
